Hey guys~ Phon here with a challenge for you to try in your ORAS play through.

Back when X/Y came out, a friend challenged me to take on the Gym Leader Challenge: A challenge created to see if you can not only beat the story using Pokemon of a similar type, but test to see if you truly are a master of a Pokemon type. I completed it, so I'd say I'ma a bonefide certified Flying type Gym Leader, huehueh. :icondignitylaughplz:

Now that aside, I'm going to post my own modified rules to make the hellish challenge i had a REAL MAN CHALLENGE!!!!

I CHALLENGE YOU TO TAKE THE CHAMPION CHALLENGE!!!

(Redudancy!:dummy:)

Your challenge is to surpass the Gym leaders, to become the ultimate trainer of your type, a champion!

I will present three sets of rules, each one increasing in difficulty, and even having post game challenges for you! Do you start with the easy, or be a real man and take on the real challenge.

CHALLENGE 1: YOU'RE STILL A GYM LEADER!

:bulletgreen: Rule 1: Types!
:bulletgreen: All Pokemon in your team must share one type, the secondary type is up to you.

:bulletgreen: Rule 2: Capture Rule!
:bulletgreen: All Pokemon must be caught in your game, and must have your home game trainer ID. No event Pokemon, no trades.*

:bulletgreen: Rule 3: Available Pokemon!
:bulletgreen: Any Pokemon within your type restriction from any region is allowed, as long as they can be caught normally in ORAS. (Excludes Legends and Mythics of course)

:bulletgreen: Rule 4: Evolution!
:bulletgreen: If you have Pokemon that evolves into your type, you can use it, but it must evolve into a Pokemon of your type! (Ex: Fire type: Eevee must evolve into Flareon)

:bulletgreen: Rule 5: Mega Evolution!
:bulletgreen: If you have a Pokemon that, when it undergoes mega evolution, changes into your type, it can be used, in or not in Mega Evolution format.

:bulletgreen: Rule 6: Starter Pokemon!*
:bulletgreen: If no Pokemon of your type are readily available early in the game, you can trade in one Pokemon that has your type. This pokemon must hatch within your game, thus having your trainer ID.

:bulletgreen: Rule 7: Healing Restrictions!
:bulletgreen: Poke Center is your best friend for healing, other wise you can only use natural means of HP and PP restoration. (Ex: Water Bottles and Berries, no potion or elixirs)**

:bulletgreen: Rule 8: Item Restrictions!**
:bulletgreen: Any item found is fair game to be used. Other than balls, natural items or TM's, no items should be bought.

:bulletgreen: Rule 9: Gimmie a Break!
:bulletgreen: Should you find the challenge too hard, but you don;t want to quite, you can bring in one Pokemon that does not follow your chosen type. It must follow all previous stated rules. (You're a pansy if you have to do this)

---------
Are you feeling risky? That challenge too easy for you? This next round is all the same rules, with some addons.... :iconcreepyonionplz:Then get ready ROUND 2 COMING AT YOU!

CHALLENGE 2: HERE'S LOOKING AT YOU, ELITE FOUR!

:bulletred: Rule 1: Types!
:bulletred: All Pokemon in your team must share one type, the secondary type is up to you.
:bulletred: No dupes or shared types! (No two Woopers/Quagsires and no two Pokemon with the same exact typing)

:bulletred: Rule 2: Capture Rule!
:bulletred: All Pokemon must be caught in your game, and must have your home game trainer ID. No event Pokemon, no trades.*
        :bulletred: Gotta be in Pokeballs!

:bulletred: Rule 3: Available Pokemon!
:bulletred: Any Pokemon within your type restriction from any region is allowed, as long as they can be caught normally in ORAS. (Excludes Legends and Mythics of course)
:bulletred: You're limited to Pokemon from Gen I though III. They still will have to be normally caught in ORAS. (Excludes Legends and Mythics of course)

:bulletred: Rule 4: Evolution!
:bulletred: If you have Pokemon that evolves into your type, you can use it, but it must evolve into a Pokemon of your type! (Ex: Fire type: Eevee must evolve into Flareon)

:bulletred: Rule 5: Mega Evolution!
:bulletred: If you have a Pokemon that, when it undergoes mega evolution, changes into your type, it can be used, in or not in Mega Evolution format.

:bulletred: Rule 6: Starter Pokemon!*
:bulletred: If no Pokemon of your type are readily available early in the game, you can trade in one Pokemon that has your type. This pokemon must hatch within your game, thus having your trainer ID.

:bulletred: Rule 7: Healing Restrictions!
:bulletred: Poke Center is your best friend for healing, other wise you can only use natural means of HP and PP restoration. (Ex: Water Bottles and Berries, no potion or elixirs)**

:bulletred: Rule 10: Banned Items!
:bulletred: EXP Share is not allowed, all Pokemon must be leveled up by original means, in other words, TRAINING THEM.

:bulletred: Rule 11: PermaBOX!
:bulletred: If your Pokemon is ever one shot KO'd, that Pokemon is consider dead, and must be box until Post game! You can still go an recapture another Pokemon of that species of you wish.

:bulletblack: Rule 2: Capture Rule!
:bulletblack: All Pokemon must be caught in your game, and must have your home game trainer ID. No event Pokemon, no trades.*
        :bulletblack: Gotta be in Pokeballs!
:bulletblack: You are limited to one Pokemon per evolution line.***

:bulletblack: Rule 3: Available Pokemon!
:bulletblack: Any Pokemon within your type restriction from any region is allowed, as long as they can be caught normally in ORAS. (Excludes Legends and Mythics of course)
:bulletblack: You're limited to Pokemon from Gen I though III. They still will have to be normally caught in ORAS. (Excludes Legends and Mythics of course)
:bulletblack: YOUR IN HOENN SUCKAH'! That's right, you want to be the best champion ever, then rule your home region by using a team of Pokemon entirely native to GEN III! Do I even need to repeat the rest?

:bulletblack: Rule 4: Evolution!
:bulletblack: If you have Pokemon that evolves into your type, you can use it, but it must evolve into a Pokemon of your type! (Ex: Fire type: Eevee must evolve into Flareon)

:bulletblack: Rule 5: Mega Evolution!
:bulletblack: If you have a Pokemon that, when it undergoes mega evolution, changes into your type, it can be used, in or not in Mega Evolution format.
:bulletblack: NO MEGA EVOLUTION UNTIL POST STORY! (Sorry, you're just not cool enough~)
:bulletblack: Sorry Champ, you don't get one till you REALLY are a champion.

:bulletblack: Rule 6: Starter Pokemon!*
:bulletblack: If no Pokemon of your type are readily available early in the game, you can trade in one Pokemon that has your type. This pokemon must hatch within your game, thus having your trainer ID.

:bulletblack: Rule 7: Healing Restrictions!
:bulletblack: Poke Center is your best friend for healing, other wise you can only use natural means of HP and PP restoration. (Ex: Water Bottles and Berries, no potion or elixirs)**
:bulletblack: You are limited to visiting the center only when you have a fainted Pokemon.
:bulletblack: YOU WANNA BE THE CHAMPION? YOU GOTTA TRAIN LIKE THE CHAMPIONS. Your ONLY means of healing HP or PP, is the PokeCenter. No items, no berries, just nothing but good ol' Nurse Joy!

:bulletblack: Rule 8: Item Restrictions!**
:bulletblack: Any item found is fair game to be used. Other than balls, natural items or TM's, no items should be bought.

:bulletblack: Rule 9: Gimmie a Break!
:bulletblack: Should you find the challenge too hard, but you don;t want to quite, you can bring in one Pokemon that does not follow your chosen type. It must follow all previous stated rules. (You're a pansy if you have to do this)

:bulletblack: Rule 10: Banned Items!
:bulletblack: EXP Share is not allowed, all Pokemon must be leveled up by original means, in other words, TRAINING THEM.
:bulletblack: Like i said earlier, no healing items of any kind!

:bulletblack: Rule 11: PermaBOX!***
:bulletblack: If your Pokemon is ever one shot KO'd, that Pokemon is consider dead, and must be box until Post game!
:bulletblack: THIS JUST GOT WORSE. If EVER your Pokemon is knocked out, it is sent to the PermaBOX.
:bulletblack: YOU CANNOT RE-CATCH THAT POKEMON AGAIN until Post Game. ***

:bulletblack: Rule 12: Save Points?
:bulletblack: Trust me, trying to do the previously stated stuff will break anyone, so here's an added bonus to this challenge mode.
:bulletblack: You can save after Gym battles, Story battles, E4 Battles, and yes, the Champ battle.
:bulletblack: If ever a Pokemon faints in a battle, you can reset back to the point to keep your Pokemon, but no saving before! If you lose a Pokemon in the save point battle, it's gone for ever!

:bulletblack: Rule 13: GAME OVER!
:bulletblack: There is one way to game over in this mode, lose all your Pokemon. As i stated earlier, if you lose a Pokemon, you cannot re-catch it.
:bulletblack: Well what happens if you lose ALL you Pokemon that are within your type with Gen III?
:bulletblack: That my friend, is game over. You tried, you really did, but you weren't a master of that type. Train some more, try again next Gen...

:bulletblack: Rule 14: The Fairy Law!
:bulletblack: After checking more into the amount of Pokemon available, i realized that a few types have a  significant disadvantage since Pokemon of their type are not in Hoenn
:bulletblack: This being the case i will allow a certain amount of Pokemon to be traded in for the trainer to use during their challenge. There is a catch to this. One Pokemon, from each region, meaning a max of 5 extra Pokemon can be traded in, AND your total amount of Pokemon cannot surpass 8, that's a team of six and two extras. These Pokemon must be brought in by egg for, and hatch in game.
            :bulletblack: Trainers of these types are allowed: Fairy(5), Dragon(4), Electric(4), Fighting(3), Fire(4), Ghost(3), Ground(2), Ice(5), Poison(3), and Steel(5).

:bulletblack: Rule 15: Version Exclusives Law

:bulletblack: I understand that some Pokemon of your type may not be available in your game due to version exclusives.
:bulletblack: Thanks to this, I'm allowing one more pardon law: the VE Law.

:bulletblack: VE Law states: If you reach an area where a Pokemon of your type would normally be available, but is not due to Version Exclusives, you can ask for a friend to send you an egg of the Pokemon.

---------
